Positive Vibes – March 2017

We get it – some days it’s too hard to get out of bed, let alone get in the shower and then face other humans.  Every month we’ll be sharing our favorite tunes to help you get the day started off on the right foot.

For March, the theme is rightfully spring.  At Tulip, we’re all about positive vibes.  With spring comes some more vitamin D, and hence better moods.  Below is our playlist to help you take advantage of the SPRING you’ll have in your step.

Stevie B is a legend and his 80’s Freestyle hit Spring Love still gets us going.

There’s no better way to describe the transition from Winter to Spring then how the Beatles do it in Here Comes the Sun.  Harrison wrote this track when he was down on the music industry, but started to feel his love come back.

Once you have that springtime feeling, don’t let anyone take it away without a fight!  Len gets deep in Steal my Sunshine about how some people may just want to bring you down.  Don’t let them.

Don’t stay cooped up this Spring.  Listen to Early November – it’s time to go Outside.

You may be wondering what Lily Allen’s Smile is doing on the least.  After all, it’s a song about a woman who gets cheated on.  Well, as she said, she found light at the end of the tunnel, and now looks back on those days like we can look back on Winter.

Spring gives us a Good Feeling – Flo Rida comes out with club banger after club banger and this one, featuring an Etta James sample is no different.

Reggaeton music always gets us in the mood for good mood.  Look no farther than one of the most popular reggaeton artists, Don Omar, and his hit Dale Don Dale.

For the last 4 songs on the list… they just put us in a good mood so we added.  Enjoy listening to Semi-Charmed Life, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, The Way you Make me Feel and Happy.
