Let’s Answer Those Questions!

PRE-SALE ORDERS

I placed a pre-sale order, when will it ship?

Pre-sale orders will ship in early Feb and deliver by Feb 14th, just in time for Valentine’s Day!

SUBSCRIPTIONS

How does the subscription service work?

If you like convenience and don’t want to remember to buy a new toothbrush or toothpaste, the Tulip subscription is for you!  Select the Tulip products you want to receive on a recurring basis and pick how often you want to receive them. You can choose to receive product every month, every two months or every three months. After your 1st purchase, just sit back and watch the new products roll in.

If subscriptions aren’t your thing – no problem! You can place a one-time order online one the same checkout page. Just select “one time purchase” when you pick your products.

Can I change my subscription once it’s started?

Absolutely! You can change the products you receive and the frequency with which you receive them all on your account page. If you’re trying to make a change within 24 hours of your next shipment, shoot us an email at hello@tulipclean.com and we’ll work our magic to update your order. Otherwise you can make and save all changes on your account page. Easy peasy.

Can I have multiple subscriptions?

Yes! If you want different products on different replacement cycles we can set you up with multiple subscriptions. For example, if you want to get your toothbrush replaced every month, but want your toothpaste replaced every three you’ll have 2 subscriptions. All subscriptions live on your account page and you can make changes up to the day before it’s scheduled to ship.

I dropped my toothbrush in the toilet, can I get a new one before my next subscription order arrives?

Whether your brush falls in the toilet or you’re feeling in the toilets after a battle with the flu, you can place a one-time order for a brush (or paste!) mid-cycle. Just log in to your account page and make a one-time purchase. We’ll have our team ship it out ASAP!

How do I cancel my subscription?

If you decide the subscription isn’t working for you, you can cancel anytime! Login to your account page and click the “Cancel Subscription” link to cancel. If you have any regrets and want to restart your subscription, you can visit the same page and click the “Resume Subscription” link.

Either way, if you are cancelling your subscription our team would love to hear from you! We’re always striving to make improvements and we’d love any feedback.

TOOTHBRUSHES

How often should I replace my toothbrush?

Toothbrushes are kind of like the sponges you use for washing your dishes, except they go in your mouth and are around a toilet 24/7 (sorry for the horrifying visual). Dentists recommend replacing your toothbrush every 3 months. That’s about the time bristles start physically degrading, but the germs really start calling your brush home after a week of use. Yup, just one week. With that said, we think you should be replacing your brush every month to ensure you have the freshest brush possible. Also because gross.

My dentist said I should use a ‘soft’ brush. Is Tulip’s brush ‘soft’,’medium’ or ‘hard’?

Great question! We’re all of the above 🙂

Soft bristles are typically recommended for people who brush really hard, because brushing too hard can damage your gums. However if you’re a coffee (or wine) drinker you want harder bristles to help remove the stains on your teeth. Here at Tulip we thought – why not have both? Soft bristles around the edges for your gums and harder bristles in the center to rub those pesky stains off. We’re the first brush of it’s kind and we like to think you can have your cake and eat it too!

What’s up with activated charcoal? Why is it on the brush?

Activated charcoal is a potent natural treatment used to trap toxins in the body.  It helps whiten teeth and balances the pH levels in your mouth to help prevent cavities, bad breath and gum disease.

Please not, we have not yet run any clinical trials on the use of activated charcoal in our toothbrush.

Where are your toothbrushes made?

We’re glad you asked!  Our 100% plastic toothbrushes are made from high-grade materials and manufactured by a facility in China with over 100 years of experience.  The nylon we use for the bristles comes from the largest producer of nylon in the world right here in the US of A.

TOOTHPASTE

How long does Tulip toothpaste last?

Another great question! The Tulip paste is 4oz and should last you about 2 months. This assumes you brush with a pea size amount of paste and brush 2x a day. If you use more paste per brush or brush less frequently it could go faster or last longer, really depends on the person. We recommend signing up for a 2 month replacement cycle and adjusting after the first cycle.

What are the ingredients in Tulip toothpaste?

Besides delicious natural flavors, our paste uses FDA approved ingredients clinically proven to fight cavities.
